I can’t seem to get it to work and im not sure what im doing wrong, im meant to be adding a link to the image of the cat

You need to nest your img element inside the anchor tag. Also, you need to close the comment or it will treat every thing below the actual comment as comment as well. So the code should look something like this:

  <img src="https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/curriculum/cat-photo-app/relaxing-cat.jpg" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back." />
</a>

Notice how the a tag starts before the img tag but ends after the img tag. Also, notice --> bit after your TODO comment.
