Learning to describe problems is hard, but it is an important part of learning how to code.
Also, the more you say, the more we can help!

where have you tried adding the closing tag? have you tried after the image?

 <a> <img </a>src="https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/curriculum/cat-photo-app/relaxing-cat.jpg" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back.">

Yes i have tried. But can’t understand what i’m doing wrong here.

that is not after the img, you can’t write a tag inside an other tag

I’ve edited your code for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) to add backticks around text.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (').

You need an href attribute with the value set to https://freecatphotoapp.com and the closing tag goes after the img element.
