I’m stuck at this point. “Your anchor (a) element should have an opening tag. Opening tags have this syntax: ."

Hello there @Joshuaeniola1010 . I can see one or more things that is not mentioned in the instruction.

The instruction simply asks you to:

Turn the image into a link by surrounding it with necessary element tags. Use https://freecatphotoapp.com as the anchor’s href attribute value.

If I see your code

  <img src="https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/curriculum/cat-photo-app/relaxing-cat.jpg"> </a>cat photos.</p>
  1. There is no opening anchor tag.
  2. The instruction doesn’t asks you add text cat photos and </p> tag.

The instructions simply asks you to add anchor tag around the img tag without any text.
