Challenge: Learn HTML by Building a Cat Photo App - Step 22

Link to the challenge:

Firstly, I’d put the img element on a separate line to the closing ul tag, not that it’s causing the step to fail.

The issue is that you’ve tried to add an alt attribute as a separate HTML element. It should be within the img tag with the syntax attribute='value'.

Compare with the other img element further up the page, to see how your alt attribute should be added.

the alt attribute must be inside the img tag

        <ul>
          <li>cat nip</li>
          <li>laser pointers</li>
          <li>lasagna</li>
        </ul><img src="https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/curriculum/cat-photo-app/lasagna.jpg" alt="A slice of lasagna on a plate.">
