all html tags must be written with angled brackets around them.
When you look at the code you have so far for eg. you can see:

All of these are examples.
So make sure you img element has the < and > around it.
(and make sure the src and alt attributes are enclosed within the angled brackets similar to how you would write an anchor tag with its attributes)
