Hello there @stellaliu

Looks like you’ve more than one issue in your code. It is better to click on “Reset Button” to get the original code and start again.

If you look clearly there are two closing section tags available inside your code, which is not right and there should be one.

<ul>
        <li>cat nip</li>
        <li>laser pointers</li>

<!-- User Editable Region -->

        <li>lasagna</li>
      <figure>
        <img src="https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/curriculum/cat-photo-app/lasagna.jpg" alt="A slice of lasagna on a plate.">
      </figure>
    </section>

<!-- User Editable Region -->

    </section>
  </main>
</body>
</html>

Also you’re missing a closing ul tag above figure tag. That’s why you’re getting error.

I hope my reply will help you to understand, thanks.
