Learn HTML by Building a Cat Photo App - Step 23

Tell us what’s happening:
Describe your issue in detail here.

I can’t get past level 23. It keeps on saying the figure needs to be inline with the closing section. I don’t have a clue what it means or what it should look like

Your code so far

<html>
  <body>
    <main>
      <h1>CatPhotoApp</h1>
      <section>
        <h2>Cat Photos</h2>
        <!-- TODO: Add link to cat photos -->

Learning to describe problems is hard, but it is an important part of learning how to code.
Also, the more you say, the more we can help!

Hi there @Abbisfab welcome to fcc forum.

Since there is no example given for the lesson, you need to do a quick google search for this.

Try searching: “Which tag goes inside figure tag for image”. And you should get the answer.

         <figure>
       <img src="https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/curriculum/cat-photo-app/lasagna.jpg" alt="A slice of lasagna on a plate.">[This would go inside that tag<A slice of lasagna on a plate>]
        </figure>

I hope my reply will help you, thanks.

Hey Buddy , Here Can you confirm me in which part of your code you need help ?

Actually I can’nt figure out exactly where I need to help you out ?

Hope You Understand !!

There should be a figure element right above the second section element’s closing tag. That’s the hint. I’m so confused

To move to the next level it says

‘ There should be a figure element right above the second section element’s closing tag.’

I thought it looked ok I don’t know what wrong

Welcome to the community @Abbisfab !
You may want to reset the challenge and try again, could you elaborate on why you have tags around A SLICE OF LASAGNA ON A PLATE? This may help solve the problem. :slightly_smiling_face:

Bingo it worked! Yaya thank you
