Hey everyone,

I was having trouble with inputting the type attribute in the input. I tried to mirror how to do the a href or img src. The code is below and would really appreciate help on this one. Thank you

Hello! @jdpye21

The input is a tag and type is an attribute. The syntax can be given as <input type = "">.

Happy Coding!

@jdpye21 Hello! It seems you are well on your way. You’ve made it to step 38.

Check out this link. Great information on the input tag, and you can even try it out there (play with the code)
W3Schools Input Tag

You are so close.

If you removed the two angle brackets after input and only have one space between input and type you’ll have it.
