type isn’t a tag, it’s an attribute as the task says, just like src, href, action, target are attributes too.

Create a text field to get text input from a user by adding the type attribute with the value text to the input element.

type is used the same way as those :slight_smile:

if type is used similar to those why isnt type=text going through im confused maybe in theformating ?
