Appreciated your reply. i want to know how to put action attribute into botton element. Furthermore, is there any way i can check the correct answer right away without asking anyone? it is kind of too basic to ask.

Asking questions is part of the coding progress. First, we dont just give answers on the forum and if there is an answer the mods will remove it when we see it. You’re not going to learn if the answers are just provided to you. Asking questions, and woring out the problem is the best way you can improve your coding

Now, for the challenge the instructions say

" Add a button element with the text Submit below the input element."

This is what you need to do in order to pass the challenge, but the following part:

“The default behavior of clicking a form button without any attributes submits the form to the location specified in the form’s action attribute.”

This is just describing the behavior of the button with the form. You do not need to be adding an action attribute anywhere in this challenge. Only do the top part

You misspelled button here. Also look at the instructions or the top part I provided in my post. Your text submit should match 100% to what the directions tell you. Right now it does not
