I am trying to insert a submit to button command but i do not know where i got it wrong

You did not add an attribute, you added more content outside of the opening tag. Attributes go inside of the opening tag.

What does your code look like when you try to add the attribute to the opening tag for the element?

The type is just “submit”

I’ve edited your code for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.
