Learn HTML by Building a Cat Photo App - Step 44

Tell us what’s happening:

Hello everyone! I’m having trouble with Step 44. So, here’s what I understand so far. I understand(maybe I don’t completely get it) but my understanding is that the radio button is supposed to come before the input element. However, I tried doing that but the code came up with an error. Then, I put the radio in “” after the input type message. At this point, I think I have made a bunch of different errors and now I am confused. If someone could help lead me in the right direction. Not looking for answers, just may need a different way of looking at it.

Thank you in advance everyone!!

Hello @jpccdirect !

Good attempt!

I can see the confusion in the code.

There is not any need for the button element within the input element.

I think the confusion here is because it is called a radio button.

The radio is a value of the type attribute within the input element.

I notice there is a type with a value of type.

Suggestion: Reset the step to clear any failed code.

Enter the type attribute with the value radio above the existing input element.
Remember to leave a space and enter the provided text after the closing > for the input.

Wishing you good progress.
