Tell us what’s happening:

Here is my code that is invalid the directions say to add a text element with the value submit to my button but the button already said submit before adding the input so this step just kind of confuses me all the way around… What am I missing?

do not create a new element, add the attribute to the button

im sorry I don’t quite understand what this means like keep the button open in the middle?

The button had Submit as text, you should not change what is inside it
