" set the button’s value attribute to the same value as its id attribute."

What are the values you set for the value attribute? Are they the same as the id attribute for the button?

im so confused

value id=" " ?

You have already added the id attributes to these inputs in previous steps:

<input id="indoor" type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor">
<input id="outdoor" type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor">

Do you see that the first input has an id attribute set to “indoor” and the second input has an id attribute set to “outdoor”?

The instructions are asking you to add a value attribute to these two inputs and set their actual values to be the same as the values of their id attributes.

You did add a value attribute to each input. You just didn’t set them to the right value on the right side of the equals sign. You set them both to “on”. Instead, they need to be the same as the value for the id attribute on the input.

value="in/out" thanks a lot !!
