A label element needs both an opening and closing tag. A tag starts with a < and ends with a >. Does your opening label tag have both?

The text for a label goes in between the opening and closing tags. I think you forgot to add the text for this label.

To display your code in here you need to wrap it in triple back ticks. On a line by itself type three back ticks. Then on the first line below the three back ticks paste in your code. Then below your code on a new line type three more back ticks. The back tick on my keyboard is in the upper left just above the Tab key and below the Esc key.

Until you do the above I can’t really tell what you did. Back to your original attempt:

<label for= "loving" </label>

Do you see that the opening <label> tag is missing the > at the end of it? Once you fix that, then you need to put the label text in between the opening and closing tags.

Your checkbox should still have an id attribute with the value loving . You may have removed the attribute or changed its value.

Again, I can’t really help you until I can see your actual HTML. You need to follow the instructions I gave you above for showing your code in here. Also, while you are typing in the editor, you may be able to use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+e to get the triple backs, but make sure they cursor is on a separate line and no other text is on that line.
