How do you solve the following problem

There’s another way to associate an input element’s text with the element itself. You can nest the text within a label element and add a for attribute with the same value as the input element’s id attribute.

Associate the text Loving with the checkbox by only nesting the text Loving in a label element and place it to the right side of the checkbox input element

you have a label in the proper place but you need to associate it now to the input.
You need a for attribute.

please show me an example , I am stuck

a for attribute , just like all other attributes is added to the opening tag of the respective element. (in this case you need to add it to the label).
Then you need to give it a value. The value should match exactly the id value from the input (thus they are associated)

I just did that but to no avail
can you be a little more clear. thanks in advance

can i see your new code?

sure:
<label for="loving">Loving</label>

I’ve edited your code for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) to add backticks around text.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (').

can you post as much of your code as you can?
The label looks okay.

I still don’t understand

I just want to see the rest of your code please.

I had the same problem. This worked:

Mod edit: solution removed

Make sure to put a space between “checkbox”> and the new label. Also remove Loving at the end or you will get LovingLoving as a result in the checkbox.

Hi Ricky, welcome to the forum.
Thanks for helping out this camper. As you are new you may not be aware that sharing solutions for fCC challenges on the forum is discouraged. I have edited the post to remove the code. But I think your description is good and will help if this person still needs it.
Thanks for understanding.

The space between “checkbox”> and “<label for” is very important.
Without the space, the program says error
