I’ve tried different combinations but what am I doing wrong. I’m so confused.

Let’s look at the instructions:

“… only nesting the text Loving in a label element…”

So you aren’t going to make any changes to the existing HTML. You are only going to nest the word Loving in a label element. As you have learned from previous steps, the label element has both an opening and closing tag. So nesting something inside of a label element means putting it between the opening and closing tags.

I would restart the step to get the original HTML back and then be sure to nest just the word Loving between those tags. Once you do that then you will also need to add the for attribute to the opening label tag.
