2 hours is way to long to try without talking to anyone!

You don’t have a > for this tag. Also, the for attribute needs to be in the label, not the input

And your for attribute has to match the input id. You currently have it set to “label”

still yet to make progress, it seems nothing is working

Did you make any changes? Please post your updated code.

i have done so many changes but this is the latest

<label><input id="loving" type="checkbox" for="loving">Loving</label>
  1. you moved the opening label tag to the wrong place

  2. you need to put them for attribute in the opening label tag, not the input element

i will take a break, its not working . Thanks for your help

If you have made changes, please post your code.

Breaks are definitely good for you!

That’s not where the opening label tag should be.

You have this as your current code. It should be written as <input><label> and NOT <label><input>. Also, the for attribute is supposed to be in the label element whereas you currently have it in the input element.

Personality

// for is refering to the name/value attribute

P.S Should be like this
Right now Don’t have a PC right now to check it.

Hiya, sorry i zoomed off for couple of days because it became really frustrating for me that i have to take a break. I’m a Nurse looking for a career change. I’m giving IT a shot but i case the frustration I’m experiencing now is expected in when venturing into something new that you have no knowledge about.

<input><label>id="loving" type="checkbox" for="Loving"</label>

this is my recent code but still not passing, i followed your advise but it seems I’m still missing something. Thanks for your help so far
type or paste code here

This part is much closer.

<elementName Attribute=value>Element Contents</elementName>

This here is the structure of almost every element.

Looking at this, you have the ‘attributes’ where the ‘contents’ go. So you need to move them.

Also, the contents should be only the word Loving

Here, you need to put the original attributes back. You will also need to add an ‘id’ attribute that matches the ‘for’ attribute of the label
