Hi. It hasn’t asked you to add a new input, it has asked you to work on the existing input tag. Reset the step to how it was and add the name attribute to the existing input . You have added a name attribute earlier in your code so you can see how to do it. If you look at the instructions, it has not asked you to add an “id” attribute or a type attribute. You were given values to put inside the name attribute.
