Learn HTML by Building a Cat Photo App - Step 58

Describe your issue in detail here.

I’m not sure where I’m going wrong here. I have “loving” only once, in between my labels but I’m missing something and I don’t know what it is. Any advice? Thanks!

Welcome to the forum @vonohlen417

Your label element should have the text Loving .

Try placing the word between the label tags.
Make sure you remove the word Loving that is not nested in the label element.

Happy coding

Hi thank you for your response!
If I move loving from where I have it, I get back an error that says I have an extra loving that needs to be removed. Is my for attribute incorrect as well? I’m just not understanding where I’m going wrong

what is your updated code? Because if you move the text Loving to the right place, you should not get that error

Based off of the example it gave in the step, I had it here, so that it was within the label element and after the for attribute
label for="loving"></label
If I moved it here,
label for="loving">Loving</label
It said there was an extra loving outside of the label. If I remove the first loving I know that’s wrong too. Is my for attribute wrong as well?

Use backticks to paste html code and you can include the brackets.

I’ve edited your post to improve the readability of the code. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) to add backticks around text.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (').

Thank you! I’m a newbie! Appreciate all the help I can get! Haha

here now you have the Loving text, attributes are not text, but you also have the Loving text outside the label element, where you wrote it in last step
