yes step 6 of new responsive web design looks confusing and failed alot

The easiest solution to this would be to reset the lesson and then follow the instructions again:

Use the space bar on your keyboard to add two more spaces in front of the p element so that it is indented properly as well.

That is all that this step requires.

The reason for proper code indentation is simply to make your code more legible. You can see the overall structure and hierarchy of the code (i.e. which elements are nested within others). Without proper indentation, your code will still work, but it will be far more difficult to read and to modify it or correct errors.
