Learning to describe problems is hard, but it is an important part of learning how to code.

Welcome to our community!

The opening ‘main’ tag <main> should be put before the first ‘p’ element. And then, the bottom ‘p’ element should be indented two spaces on the right.

<main>
  <p>....
  <h1>....
  <h2>....
  <p>....
</main>

i still dont understand what it wants me to do i space it and it still says im wrong can you explain it to me

The < main > tag needs to be in front of the < p > tag.

So it should be like:

<main>
p element
h1 element
h2 element
todo note
p element
</main>

but what you have is

p element <main>
h1 element
h2 element
todo note
p element
</main>

If the formatting elements aren’t inside the main element, it won’t work properly.

Post your new code here. I don’t know what you have done in code through words only.

<main> <p>element</p><h1>element</h1><h2>element<todo note<p>element</main>

You have done this in the wrong way. Restart step.
I will post my guidance here again:

<main>
  <h1>Text1</h1>
  <h2>Text2</h2>
  <!-- TODO: Add link to cat photos -->
  <p>Text3</p>
</main>

This is not the final solution but it is very close. All “text” values given here are already given in the step. You should get all HTML elements aligned on the left side by indenting the second ‘p’ element (the last code line). Position the cursor before the opening ‘p’ tag, and press the ‘spacebar’ bar two times.
