recall that attributes are keywords that are added to the opening tags of elements

an example would be the href attribute, or the id attribute

however

in this case we just want you to add a single word -checked- without adding anything else (no equal sign or value to follow it, just the single word checked)

review the instructions. they want you to add that word to two different elements. identify the elements and add this word.

the effect of this word is that the radio button or checkbox will look like someone has selected it.
