hi mashfigurebd,

step 61 is about setting a default state, by adding the word “checked” , to one of the radio-buttons and one of the checkboxes. ( each first choice should be preselected in these examples ). They could be added by writing the word ’ checked ’ in the opening-tag of the input-elements, just if adding an attribute, but without a value.

just add checked word to your first radio and first checkbox button

same issue… the “checked” word is place within one of the checkbox then one in radio . But its still nothing happen.

ok i got it… The “checked” word must reflect in red color indicate its the attribute then put = " " represents the no value. Bec it says it should have no value…took me hrs…my goodness…

That is not true. You do not need an equal sign after the word checked.

its what i did… checked=" " , and I’ve proceed to the next…im now at 64…which im stuck again…:smiley:

okay but I’m telling you (and you are free not to listen of course), that you should not have done that. The correct way is to simply write ‘checked’ all alone.
