Link to the challenge:

Why are you adding the ** around the word?

Your first checkbox is missing the checked attribute.

You should also make your first checkbox checked.

this is my real code but is not working.

<label><input id="indoor" type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor" value="indoor" checked> Indoor</label>

I already did this but is not working

What does your code look like with both of those problems fixed?

This is the question:

In order to make a checkbox checked or radio button selected by default, you need to add the checked attribute to it. There’s no need to set a value to the checked attribute. Instead, just add the word checked to the input element, making sure there is space between it and other attributes.

Make the first radio button and the first checkbox selected by default.

where I place the check on this code?

And this is my answer:

<label><input id="indoor" type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor" value="indoor" checked> Indoor</label>

Where is your code where you fixed this?

I don’t see your checkbox checked

You are correct…so far, you have checked the radio button for ‘Indoor’, but they are asking you to also check the box for ‘Loving’
