the original code provided to you looked like this:

And you were asked to make the words “freeCodeCamp.org” into a link.
And to set the href attribute of the anchor tag (used to make a link) to https://www.freecodecamp.org

So you need to understand anchor tags first. They look like this:
<a href="my-web-page-link-here">The Text I Will Click Here</a>

The anchor tag has a start and closing part. You have to put the start on left of some words that become the link, and the end of the tag on the right hand side of the text. (you surround the text you want inside the anchor tag to mark it as a link)
It also has an attribute called href which contains the link to the url you want people to go to when they click on your text.

So knowing this, when you restart your exercise, do not delete anything give to you. Just add the anchor text on the left and right of the words you are trying to make into a link.
