Challenge: Learn HTML by Building a Cat Photo App - Step 64

Link to the challenge:

Put the anchor inside the paragraph such that the final result in the preview pane is

No Copyright- freeCodeCamp.org

i do not understand, will you please elobrate???

Not exactly sure which part you want me to elaborate on… but I will try to rephrase.

When you started this exercise, you were shown some text in the editor

No Copyright - freeCodeCamp.org

If you look at your preview pane, none of these words are clickable.

You want to make the last word into a link (something people can click)

So this is done with an anchor element.

I think you have misunderstood the objectives of this step.

If you click the reset button to reset the code to it initial state, you will see this plain text in the editor

No Copyright - freeCodeCamp.org

Then look at the preview pane and confirm that this text is there and it cannot be clicked on.

The objective here to make the last word into a link that can be clicked on so the end result should be like below:

No Copyright - freeCodeCamp.org

The last letter is now a link.

You do this by placing an opening anchor tag on the left of the word and a closing anchor tag on the right.
Make sure that you do not modify the spacing.
Everything should look exactly the same in the end but the word becomes a link.

Is the code correct???

If you carefully follow the instruction, it explicitly said that only a part of a given sentence should be wrapped in ‘a’ tags:

Text <a href="url">text</a>

It says the code does not pass ,You have done exactly that

make sure the final result in the preview pane looks like this

No Copyright - freeCodeCamp.org

The last word only should be a link

But still not coming

show your new code (do not open another topic, just reply back to this one)

okay what is the format?

No Copyright - freeCodeCamp.org

please show your code for review.

The code should be within a code block
```
this is a code block
```

No Copyright - freeCodeCamp.org <a href="freeCodecCamp.org">freecodecamp.org</a>

I’ve edited your code for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) to add backticks around text.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (').

instead of adding the anchor tag at the end of the line, you need to just modify the original text

No Copyright - freeCodeCamp.org

So the anchor opening tag should be on the left of the last word
and the closing tag should be at the end of the line.

Thanks Reading these helped me to understand. I got it. Yea!!!
