Hello, I’m trying to figure out if my text should be placed outside of the (a) attribute.

The only text that needs to be surrounded by your anchor tags is “freecodecamp.org” everything else stays on the outside

Thanks. Does it matter if I add text before the opening anchor or after the anchor?

The text needs to stay the exact same way the challenge gives it to you. The only thing you need to do is surround that text the challenge tells you between the opening and closing anchor tags. If the text is moved around then the challenge wont pass

The link’s text should be freeCodeCamp.org . You have either omitted the text or have a typo.

You dont have the text inside your anchor tag. It would similar to what you did on step 12 with the cat photos

<a href=“link source ”> text between tags</a>

It needs to be similar to this, but again the “text between” needs to be the text that the challenge is asking you to surround with anchor tags
