Not sure whats going on ive followed the same steps as when i nested an a with a href earlier on in this chapter

The step is asking for you to make the text “freeCodeCamp.org” the link but currently your code is <a href:“https://www.freecodecamp.org” > which means there is no text to link. You want to put the text between your opening and closing tag. You can follow your earlier code as an example:

Also you want a href= not a href: Hope this helps!

I’ve edited your code for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

That looks better! I’m thinking it’s 1-you left your p tag open before “no copyright” and 2-you don’t want a space between your closing anchor tag and closing p tag. If you reference where you inserted a link earlier as a reference, you’ll get it. :slight_smile:
