Challenge: Learn HTML by Building a Cat Photo App - Step 67

Link to the challenge:

You have an incorrect html tag and closing tag at the top so you have two. Why is there so much code here because it`s only 18 lines long. To answer you question an attribute is only inside of an opening tag in html.

Hello @Silentg393 !

Here is an article that explains attributes with examples. This article is found in the fCC News category, where there is a wealth of helpful articles on almost all topics.

FCC News Article Attributes Explained

Good try of entering the html element,
The lang attribute and its value of “en” need to be inside of the opening html tag.

You could use the follow quoted code as a reference on how to add the attribute and value. In the quote, you have added the type attribute and its value of “submit”.

The closing html tag needs to go at the very bottom of all code.

html nests all code for the document.

I hope this can help you!

Keep up the good progress!
