Learn HTML by building a cat photo app step 8

Okay i’ve checked the directions countless times and have the photo up on the screen but it still says i’m incorrect. Has someone reset this? There’s just no other explanation!

HI @chucklschultz !

Welcome to the forum!

Please show us your code and link to the step you are referring to so we can help you.
That way we can test your code and see what is happening on our end. :+1:

When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) to add backticks around text.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (').

Hi jwilkins.oboe!
The line I used in my code was: <img src="https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/curriculum/cat-photo-app/relaxing-cat.jpg" alt='A cute orange cat lying on its back'/>
Thanks for your response. Looking forward to hearing back from you!

Chuck

Hi,
At this step, the program does not accept the alt attribute (even if this is good practice  ). Try to remove it, it should work.
