Learn HTML Forms by Building a Registration Form - Step 17

I’m not really sure what I am doing wrong. I have the input element after the label text, and there’s a space in-between as well. Could someone give me some type of insight on what I am doing wrong?

Hi,
I don’t think you were asked to provide a type on this step…
but anyway you didn’t add the closing input tags. Each input opening tag should be immediately followed by a closing input tag.

Oh okay!! I thought input was self-closing :woman_facepalming:t2: Thank you so much!!
