Challenge: Learn HTML Forms by Building a Registration Form - Step 17

Link to the challenge:

Hi there :slightly_smiling_face:.
The <input/> is self-closed.
What you’re missing is / at the end of <input>

Stop telling people wrong things please. The slash in self closing tags is not required.

So what is the solution, please? , I’m having the same issue

We won’t write the solution for you, but if you open a topic with your code and a link to the challenge, we can help you fix your code.

okay. thanks. will do that

The code is correct. It has passed on my side. Restart the step and if the solution doesn’t pass again follow the note:
“Note: Some browser extensions, such as ad-blockers and dark mode extensions can interfere with the tests. If you face issues, we recommend disabling extensions that modify the content or layout of pages, while taking the course.”

I just took my browser theme off dark mode back to default. and the code passed. This really helped! thank you very much.
