Challenge: Learn HTML Forms by Building a Registration Form - Step 17

Link to the challenge:

I am guessing you may have looked for the solution on other posts. You have added types to your inputs, but no where in the directions does it tell you to add a type. You need to get rid of the types in all four inputs.

sorry i didn’t get you i have been stuck here for a months now please help me with proper code

We dont give out code on the forum. What you need to do is

already did it but still don’t work

Can you show your new code. When replying use the format button that looks like </> and paste your code between the lines

<fieldset>
  <label for="first-name">Enter Your First Name: <input id="first-name"></label>
  <label for="last-name">Enter Your Last Name: <input id="last-name"></label>
  <label for="email">Enter Your Email: <input id="email"></label>
  <label for="password">Create a New Password: <input id="password"></label>
</fieldset>

I think you really need to read the directions

" Nest an input element within each label . Be sure to add each input after the label text, and include a space after the colon."

Theres no mention of giving the inputs an id, and no mention of giving your label a for attribute

thanks it solve my problem
