Learn HTML Forms by Building a Registration Form - Step 18

Tell us what’s happening:

The instructions for Step 18 are as follows:
"Following accessibility best practices, link the input elements and the label elements together using the for attribute.

Use first-name, last-name, email, and new-password as values for the respective id attributes."

The hint when I check the code is “The second label element should have a for attribute with a value of last-name.”

I believe I have all the label for last-name correct so I am not sure what the error is specifically.

Challenge Information:

Learn HTML Forms by Building a Registration Form - Step 18

You have the starting label tag and attribute twice.

Do not create new elements, only update the starting code with the new attributes.

Example:

<label for="first-name">Enter Your First Name: <input id="first-name" type="text"><label for="first-name"></label>

Remove the extra starting label tag and attribute.

<label for="first-name">Enter Your First Name: <input id="first-name" type="text"></label>

Thank you so much! I was able to remove the label tag and attribute duplicate, and the code was accepted.
