It keeps showing an error that I don’t have the closing tags for the html but I clearly added it and even checked on VScode to see if it ran and it did.

you are missing the closing html tag

html is not self closing tag, so it need closing tag <html></html>

Welcome to the fCC community. The other people correct about their replies to you about tags. I just want to build off, and elaborate from what @DDVIN said. The self closing tags are also known as empty tags. I hope that your issue is resolved.
