I have entered the html element as it should be and it continues to say it needs a closing tag, which it has and if I type the element into my notepad and then copy and paste it into the step it works.

is exactly how it is written and it does not recognize it.

Your html element should have a closing tag

I see an opening tag. Where is the closing tag?
