Learn HTML Forms by Building a Registration Form - Step 38

Tell us what’s happening:
Hi, I know this is kind of a duplicate topic but I have encountered no helpful solutions so far. The error would always pertain to “profile-picture”. I have checked and double checked and nothing works. Please help! Thanks!

Challenge: Learn HTML Forms by Building a Registration Form - Step 38

Link to the challenge:

You added new labels and input fields, but that is not what the task asks you to do. You should connect the label and the respected <input>, <select>, <textarea> that already exist in your file.

okay, but the correction specifically focuses on “profile-picture” I deleted all that and did what you said but it just says id should have the attribute “profile-picture”.

Please post your corrected code so we can check on it. Thank you!

here goes, thanks!

The last 4 inputs are still there but they should not. Look at your code, there are already input fields where the user can upload his picture, give his age, say who referred him and write a bio. Right?

You have to put a “for” attribute on those already exisiting labels and an “id” on the already exisiting inputs (<input>,<select>, <textarea>).

I would suggest you reset the task and start with a clean code. And for future reference, please post your code and not a picture of it. We can not quote from the picture ;-):-).
