Learn HTML Forms by Building a Registration Form - Step 41

Tell us what’s happening:
I don’t know why my code didn’t get pass. I did add name=“last-name” to input, but still get prompt with the same message: You should give the input expecting a last name a name attribute. PS I would have chosen last-name.

Challenge: Learn HTML Forms by Building a Registration Form - Step 41

You have a bunch of attributes here. I’d trim out the extra name.

In the first lalebl, I created name=“last-name” for test purposes. I still get the same message after deleting this.

Can someone help?

I think you made some subtle extra changes that are confusing the tests. I would reset the code and only add one name at a time to each input.

Ah, found it. You clobbered the closing label tags. You shouldn’t delete anything.

Thanks for your suggestion. I reset the whole session, add name one by one following the hint. It get passed!

Clobbered the closing label tags, did you mean even with I should still keep closing tag?

even with ‘label for’, I should keep closing tab ‘/label’?

Yeah, you should generally keep the closing tags unless the element never uses a closing tag.

Taken note, thank you!
