Challenge: Learn HTML Forms by Building a Registration Form - Step 64

Link to the challenge:

Is something missing before the a?

Hope that fixes it for you!

This step involves changing both the HTML and CSS apparently. So you need to add the CSS for the a selector to change the color of the link too.

In other words, you tried to add the color in the HTML:

color="#dfdfe2"

You need to do this in the CSS file instead. And it should be for the link, not the input.

To be honest, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a step in the RWD section that includes editing both the HTML and CSS in one step before. So I understand the confusion.

no it doesn’t fix it can you please write the code here so I can write it back there.

I am not allowed to write the code as the forum rules state not to provide answers so people can learn. It appears bbsmooth has provided guidance. Try that, please?

Keep up the good progress!

You made a bunch of changes here that don’t go here. Put your CSS changes in the CSS file.

Once you do that, if you have more questions, you’ll need to show us your updated code!

I’m not sure how I feel about having a combo step, to be honest.
