Learn HTML Forms by Building a Registration Form - Step 64

Tell us what’s happening:
When changing the color of the text for the link, I add the color code, but it still says that it isn’t correct. Still says i need (a) element. I am sure that I have an error in the code. But, the color changed accurately. So i am stumped. I have inserted a{color: #dfdfe2;} and that doesn’t do what I would hope it would. I put it in different locations to see if that corrected it. Any help would be appreciated.

Challenge: Learn HTML Forms by Building a Registration Form - Step 64

Link to the challenge:

Ya, this step is a little out of the ordinary. You can’t use the style attribute to solve this. You need to open the styles.css editor and add the CSS in the CSS file.

I think this step will eventually be split into two separate steps, but for now that’s the way it is.

Hey @ManuelC I know you are new here so this is just some friendly advice for future reference. We don’t post full code working solutions in here. Instead, we try to help people find the answers for themselves by explaining concepts and giving hints. Besides, in this specific case, I don’t think @surelyalice needed help with the actual code part of the step, but rather just needed to be made aware that the CSS should go in the CSS editor. This step is unique in that both editors need to be used. No other steps in the RWD do that. So this is catching a lot of people by surprise. Ultimately this step is going to be split up into two steps.

Anyway, welcome to the forums. Just please don’t post full code working solutions.
