Learn HTML Forms by Building a Registration Form

Step 45

During development, it is useful to see the fieldset default borders. However, they make the content appear too separated.

Remove the border, and add 2rem of padding only to the top and bottom of each fieldset. Be sure to remove the padding from the left and right.

It does not work like this

border: none;
padding-top: 2rem;
padding-bottom: 2rem;
padding-left: 0;
padding-right: 0;

not even like that:

border: 0;
padding: 2rem 0;
please help!

Try using the value ‘2rem’ for both top and bottom padding and an 0 for left and right. Something like this should work,

Ahh my bad, you’ve already tried that. maybe it’s some error, refreshing the app may work.

Chances are you accidentally changed something else in the CSS that is causing you to fail the tests. That’s why you should always paste all of your CSS in here so that we can help you find your errors. Please paste all of your CSS in here using the following method.

To display your code in here you need to wrap it in triple back ticks. On a line by itself type three back ticks. Then on the first line below the three back ticks paste in your code. Then below your code on a new line type three more back ticks. The back tick on my keyboard is in the upper left just above the Tab key and below the Esc key. You may also be able to use Ctrl+e to automatically give you the triple back ticks while you are typing in the this editor and the cursor is on a line by itself. Alternatively, with the cursor on a line by itself, you can use the </> button above the editor to add the triple back ticks.
