Learn Intermediate CSS by Building a Cat Painting - Step 1

Tell us what’s happening:

Im getting an error saying my body element should come after the head element.

Ive copied this from VSCode’s HTML file every time since the second project and have had no issues until now. I can’t figure out what my problem is.

Hello @Pointlessssss,
Welcome to FCC Forum!

Looks like you wrote this by your self it does not ask you to write them!

I have always done that with no problems and i tried taking these lines out yet the error remained.

Please show me the code you have entered!

I added it above. I had played around with it for close to 30 minutes before coming to this forum. I have removed all the lines, entered them one by one, whatever i could come up with and thats the error i get as soon as body tags are added.

Hi there! You have to follow instructions and add tags which were requested, no meta and title tags are allowed in this step
