Well I don’t know if this is a bug or not, but I cannot finish this exercise despite adding the attributes to the link element and typing the values correctly…

Have you attempted entering the code without adding the /> but only the > at the end of the code? I am asking because that is the only way I could get it to pass for me. I never added the closing / within the code. But, just removing it from your code did not provide results. I had to actually reenter the code without adding it .

When I put it through the html verifier, it states that is a trailing slash that has not effect. But it appears to be affecting the code.

Here your href value should be ./styles.css.

So kindly remove the backslash from your link attribute
