Al parecer el problema es que freeCodeCamp quiere el código de una forma específica.
Tu código se ve así, solo cambié el porcentaje.

  #45454f 10%
)

Pero la página solo reconoce este formato:

background: linear-gradient(#5e5e5e 5%, #45454f 10%)

Normalmente, no hay problema, pero al parecer en este ejercicio si importa.
