Learn Intermediate CSS by Building a Cat Painting - Step 8

Tell us what’s happening:

I am having an issue with the linear gradient step. I have checked all past posts on the forum about this specific step and checked my code against all of the common syntax errors, yet I can’t seem to find what the issue is.
(ex: space after 85%,; no space between linear-gradient(); typos; etc.)

I try submitting my code and I get the error, “your linear-gradient function should set the first color to be #5e5e5e at 85%.” What could I be missing?
