this.velocity.x += this.position.x; I understand that what we are trying to achieve is setting the INITIAL POSITION OF THE PLAYER TO WHERE THE PLAYER WAS ENDING . but my test does not seem to past. Also if the objective of this test is different than please let me know

The instructions is asking: Use the addition assignment operator to add the velocity’s x coordinate to the player’s x position.

You did it opposite. When you add some value to another value, you need to write it on the right side of assignment operator.
