I cannot for the life of me figure out why this won’t work. All the other posts about this same question are not helpful. Can someone please help me see what I am missing?

Instead of i = i - 1 they wanted you to use the subtraction assignment operator which is -=.

I tried that as well and it gave me the same error. Is my code below incorrect?

for (let i = count; i > 0; i-=) {
rows.push(padRow(i, count));
}

You have missing 1 in the end of your iteration statement.
