Learn Introductory JavaScript by Building a Pyramid Generator - Step 111

Tell us what’s happening:

I do not understand this challenge it is a little bit complicated why unshify solved the problem here and inverted the pyramid

Your code so far

const character = "#";
const count = 8;
const rows = [];

function padRow(rowNumber, rowCount) {
  return " ".repeat(rowCount - rowNumber) + character.repeat(2 * rowNumber - 1) + " ".repeat(rowCount - rowNumber);
}

// TODO: use a different type of loop

// User Editable Region

for (let i = 1; i <= count; i++) {
  rows.push(padRow(i, count));
}

// User Editable Region

/*while (rows.length < count) {
  rows.push(padRow(rows.length + 1, count));
}*/

/*for (let i = count; i > 0; i--) {
  rows.push(padRow(i, count));
}*/

let result = ""

for (const row of rows) {
  result = result + "\n" + row;
}

console.log(result);

Add the line:
console.log(rows)

Put this line inside the loop.
Then open the console and check what is being printed.
Do this with the original code first, and after, with the new code.

You will see how the rows array is being modified each time the loop runs and this may help you understand more.
