Learn Introductory JavaScript by Building a Pyramid Generator - Step 43

Tell us what’s happening:

const character = “#”;
const count = 8;
const rows = ;

for (let i = 0; i < count; i = i + 1) {
rows.push(i);
}

let result = “”

for (const row of rows) {
result = result + row;
result = result + row + “\n”;
}

console.log(result);

That’s far I got. Can someone maybe rephrase the question please? Maybe I don’t get it

Your code so far

const character = "#";
const count = 8;
const rows = [];

for (let i = 0; i < count; i = i + 1) {
  rows.push(i);
}

let result = ""

// User Editable Region

for (const row of rows) {
  result = result + row;
  result = result + row + "\n";
}

// User Editable Region

console.log(result);

you have two assignments to result, meaning the characters to add there are duplicated. You should not have added a new line of code to concatenate the new line character
